Title: Desk Officer Advisor Desk Officer DC Metro Area Who We Are KBR's National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country's most critical role - protecting our national security. Who You Are As a Desk Officer Advisor, you have extensive knowledge of the Intelligence Community (IC) and its objectives, have experience managing, supporting operations or conducting all-source intelligence analysis. You work effectively in team environments as well as independently with minimal supervision and will professionally and effectively interact with client personnel at all levels. What You'll Do You will use client-specific databases to conduct all-source intelligence research, identify leads, provide operational guidance, and compile reports in support of operations. You will serve as the primary point of contact for an overseas office and/or be responsible for a collection of ongoing intelligence cases. Daily activities are wide-ranging and include: + Conducting in-depth research and delivering written all-source assessments; + Providing briefings on cases to mid- and senior-level client management including operational guidance for ongoing cases; + Ensuring counterintelligence (CI) issues are identified and mitigated, weighing the risks and benefits of various courses of action and making recommendations; + Coordinating legal and policy issues affecting overseas offices and/or cases; + Providing administrative assistance in support of overseas offices and/or personnel Required Qualifications + Active TS/SCI ++ clearance + Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience supporting operations or a related field + Experience in conducting in-depth intelligence research and analysis and delivering assessments + Experience using client-specific databases to monitor traffic and communicate with offices + Experience supporting operations Desired Qualifications + Excellent critical thinking skills, high attention to detail, and sound operational judgement + Strong organizational, writing, and briefing skills + Strong interpersonal and communication skills + Foreign language skills Belong, Connect and Grow at KBRAt KBR, we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture.
