Job Description

DESCRIPTION

At Amazon, we are reinventing how to attract and hire exceptional talent at scale. The Attraction, Influence, and Marketing organization is seeking a high-judgment, well-organized, self-motivated, and creative digital communicator. This role will lead our employer brand presence across owned talent social channels including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Threads, driving innovation and scaling our reach to fuel Amazon's hiring needs.

As a successful candidate, you'll have a proven track record of rolling up your sleeves to strategize and execute bar-raising social content focused on driving awareness and consideration of Amazon as a top employer. You should live and breathe social, meaning you’re familiar with the full spectrum of social formats (text-only, photos, short- and long-form video, animations, memes, etc.) and tactics (creators/influencers, partnerships, community management, issues management, etc.). You should also have an intimate understanding of the current digital/social media landscape, be a strategic thinker, goal oriented, and excel in a fast-paced, start-up culture. This is a role that requires both strong creative and analytical chops—on a team that works hard and has fun.

Key job responsibilities
• Content Strategy & Calendar Management: Own and manage the global content calendar across all employer brand social channels, ensuring strategic alignment with hiring priorities, recruitment events, and business objectives. Drive content planning and execution while maintaining flexibility for real-time opportunities and emerging priorities.
• Stakeholder Management: Partner with recruitment teams and business leaders to align social strategy with hiring priorities
• Innovation: Drive experimentation and testing of new social platforms and formats to reach diverse talent pools
• Content Ownership: Conceptualize and execute best-in-class social content – using a range of formats and tactics – that’s driven by customer obsession, audience insights, social trends, and the public environment.
• Social Series Development: Develop and execute content series across Amazon’s verticals and priorities
• Measurement and Evaluation: Collect, interpret, and report social data/analytics through native and third-party tools. Leverage that data as a flywheel to drive continual improvement of content against benchmarks.
• Platforms: Stay on top of the latest trends and developments across all social media platforms, while making sure content is tailored to the audiences and nuances of specific channels.
• Social tactics: Use influencers, partnerships, collaborations, and other tactics to drive business goals and content performance.
• Advice and Learning: Leverage expertise to help other teams and partners understand social’s role and impact; provide proactive and reactive counsel to internal stakeholders as needed.
