Boston Children?s Health Physicians (BCHP), in affiliation with Boston Children?s Hospital and the Department of Pediatrics at New York Medical College (NYMC), invites applications for a full-time Pediatric Interventional Cardiologist to join the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at Maria Fareri Children?s Hospital (MFCH), located on the Westchester Medical Center (WMC) campus in Valhalla, NY. Position Overview
The Division of Pediatric Cardiology comprises a dedicated multidisciplinary team of ten pediatric cardiologists and two congenital heart surgeons providing comprehensive care for children with congenital and acquired heart disease. We are seeking an additional interventional cardiologist to support our expanding cardiac program and to contribute to the academic, clinical, and educational missions of the division.
Our state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization laboratory is equipped with a comprehensive Philips Azurion Biplane Angiography System to support the full spectrum of pediatric and congenital cardiac interventions, including transcatheter valve placement (aortic and pulmonic), device closure of septal defects (ASD, VSD), balloon valvuloplasty and angioplasty, stent placement, and neonatal/pediatric ductal device closures. In addition, collaborative procedures are performed in a fully equipped Philips Hybrid Operating Room, supporting complex catheter-based interventions such as periventricular VSD device placement, ductal stenting, and Hybrid Stage I Palliation procedures. The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with our surgical, imaging, and intensive care teams to advance interventional care and outcomes for children with complex heart disease.
