What You'll Be Doing... - Serve as the Strategic Platform Advisor, providing expert guidance on ServiceNow governance and service management strategies to support NIH/CIT and NIH ICOs.
- Act as a trusted advisor to NIH leadership, offering insights and recommendations for optimizing the ServiceNow ecosystem and aligning it with organizational goals.
- Lead efforts in multi-instance environments, including strategic consolidation of instances to enhance efficiency and reduce complexity.
- Develop and implement governance frameworks for ServiceNow, ensuring compliance with NIH policies and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across NIH/CIT and ICOs to identify requirements, define priorities, and deliver solutions that drive mission success.
- Provide expertise in ITIL 4 Managing Professional and Strategic Leader practices to enhance service delivery and operational excellence.
- Monitor and report on platform performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving continuous innovation.
- Support strategic planning initiatives, aligning ServiceNow capabilities with NIH’s long-term objectives and priorities.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to governance frameworks, instance consolidation strategies, and platform roadmaps.
- Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates, new features, and industry trends to ensure NIH remains at the forefront of technology innovation.
Must Have... - ITIL 4 Managing Professional and Strategic Leader certifications.
- 10+ years of extensive experience in service management and ServiceNow governance.
- Proven expertise in the ServiceNow ecosystem, with a strong track record of success at CIT and NIH ICOs.
- Experience managing multi-instance environments, including strategic consolidation of instances.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep understanding of NIH/CIT and ICO processes, policies, and mission.
- Ability to develop and maintain detailed documentation, including governance frameworks, consolidation strategies, and roadmaps.
- Existing Public Trust Clearance or Ability to Obtain an NIH Badge.
Nice to Have... - ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
- Familiarity with Agile or DevOps methodologies.

Citizenship.. - Applicants need to be a US Citizen to be considered for the position and have physically resided in the United States for a minimum of 3 years due to background investigation requirements.
